TAILGATING & GAME DAY CONNECTIVITY

40,000 phones, one cell tower. Guess who's got signal?

It's not that the stadium lot has no coverage — it's that tens of thousands of phones are hammering the same towers at once. Rent a Starlink for your tailgate and skip the congestion entirely, since it connects straight to satellites instead of the overloaded local network.

The Problem

Why game day needs its own connection

Stadium lot network congestion

Rice-Eccles, LaVell Edwards, and every other packed stadium lot see the same issue — so many phones on one tower that even a strong carrier slows to a crawl or drops entirely.

Streaming other games

Watching RedZone or checking another game while you're tailgating for the one you're attending needs bandwidth the local network just doesn't have on a Saturday.

Payment apps & coordination

Venmo for the tailgate fund, ordering last-minute supplies, texting friends who are still finding parking — all of it gets stuck behind the same network jam.

Corporate & large group tailgates

Hosting a bigger tailgate for clients, staff, or a large group? Reliable Wi-Fi for your guests is a lot more impressive than "sorry, no signal out here."

  • Compact enough to keep in the truck all season
$25/day · $150/wk
Common Questions

Planning your tailgate

Will it actually work in a packed stadium parking lot?

Yes — that's exactly the situation it's built for. Starlink connects directly to satellites overhead rather than the local cell towers everyone else is competing for, so a packed lot doesn't slow it down the way it slows down your phone.

Can I rent it for just one game day?

Our rentals have a 2-day minimum, which comfortably covers a Friday pickup through a Saturday game, or a full game weekend if you're tailgating more than once.

How early can I set it up before kickoff?

Setup takes just a few minutes, so you can have it running as soon as you park — most stadium lots are wide open with a clear sky view, which is exactly what it needs to perform well.

Can it handle a big group all connecting at once?

Yes — both kits broadcast Wi-Fi with unlimited data, so your whole tailgate can stream, post, and pay without competing with each other or the rest of the parking lot.

Do I need to pick it up in Salt Lake City before the game?

Yes — pickup and return are based in Salt Lake City. Delivery is available for an additional charge if you're headed to a stadium further out, like LaVell Edwards in Provo.
