Renters must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid form of identification and a valid payment method at the time of pickup. Starbound Rentals reserves the right to decline a rental at its discretion.
A $50 reservation fee is required to hold your booking. For Starlink Mini rentals, this fee is applied toward your total rental cost. For Starlink Standard Gen 4 rentals, the reservation fee secures your booking separately from the rental rate.
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals, charged or authorized at pickup and released after the equipment is returned in good condition:
Deposits are refunded once the equipment has been inspected and confirmed to be in the condition it was rented in, minus any deductions described in our Damage Policy.
Pickup and return take place in Salt Lake City, UT, at a time coordinated with Starbound Rentals. Delivery and drop-off are available for an additional charge for renters who are unable to meet in person.
Equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time. Late returns may be charged the daily rental rate for each additional day, and repeated lateness may affect eligibility for future rentals.

Rental equipment must be set up and operated according to the included instructions and its intended use. Renters agree not to modify, disassemble, or attempt repairs on any rental equipment. Equipment is intended for personal or business connectivity use and may not be resold, sublet, or used for any unlawful purpose.
From the time of pickup (or delivery) until the equipment is returned to and inspected by Starbound Rentals, the renter is responsible for the equipment's care, security, and safe use. This includes protecting the equipment from theft, loss, and damage beyond normal wear and tear. See our Damage Policy for details on how damage, loss, or theft are handled.
Starbound Rentals provides equipment "as-is" and makes reasonable efforts to ensure it is clean, tested, and in good working order at the time of pickup. Starbound Rentals is not responsible for interruptions in connectivity caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to weather, obstructions, satellite network availability, or renter setup. Starbound Rentals' liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the rental.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising from a rental agreement with Starbound Rentals will be resolved under Utah law.
Starbound Rentals may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your reservation applies to that rental.
